Hosting

This website and the Dremia app are hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). With each access, server log files are automatically recorded (IP address, time, page accessed, browser type). These data are stored exclusively to ensure operation and are automatically deleted after 7 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

Data Collection

When using Dremia, we collect the following data:

• Account information: Email address and password upon registration.
• Dream data: Audio and text recordings of your dreams.
• Analysis data: AI-generated evaluations of your dreams.
• Device data: Information about your mobile device for synchronization.

Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:

• Contract fulfillment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Account data, dream data, and synchronization — this processing is necessary to provide you with the service.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Server logs and technical data to ensure operation.

Use of Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide you with the Dremia service, to synchronize your dreams, and to analyze them using AI.

Data Sharing with Third Parties

Audio and text data are transmitted to OpenAI, LLC (San Francisco, USA) for transcription and analysis. No personal data such as name or email address is shared with OpenAI. The transfer to the USA is based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfillment). OpenAI processes the data exclusively for the requested service and does not store it permanently.

Data Retention

Your dream data, analyses, and account information are stored until you delete them yourself or cancel your account. Upon account deletion, all associated data is irreversibly removed.

Cookies

Dremia uses only technically necessary session cookies required for the operation of the website. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
